1. Any person who promises the public a specific reward for performing a particular act shall be obligated to grant the reward to the person who Civil Transactions Law performs the act in accordance with the announced conditions, even if said person acted without knowing about the reward or being motivated thereby. 2. If the promisor does not specify a deadline for performing the act, he may withdraw his promise by announcing such withdrawal in the same manner he announced the promise or by making a public announcement. However, the right to receive the reward shall not be prejudiced by the withdrawal for any person who performs the required act prior to the announcement of the withdrawal. The right to file a claim for the reward shall be forfeited upon the lapse of 90 days from the date of the withdrawal announcement. Section 3: Harmful Acts
