1. If the qualities of the creditor and debtor are united in a single person with
respect to a single debt, the debt shall be extinguished to the extent of the
confusion.
2. If the creditor is an heir of the debtor, confusion shall not apply, and said
creditor shall be treated in the same manner as all other creditors in
collecting his debt from the estate.
