1. The agent may not, without the principal’s authorization, purchase for his
own account a thing he was appointed to sell.
2. The agent may not, without the principal’s authorization, sell a thing to his
ascendants, descendants, or spouse, nor sell it to a person the agent, in
dealing with such person, would make a gain or avoid a loss.
