If a bareboat Saudi vessel is chartered to a foreign person, the owner shall notify the registration office where the vessel is registered at least 15 days prior to the effective date of the charterparty. The registration office shall suspend or Commercial Maritime Law temporarily strike off the vessel’s registration for the term of the charterparty, and the vessel shall not fly the Kingdom's flag during such term.
