1. Each creditor may, in the case referred to in Article 70, petition the sale of a vessel or part thereof pursuant to a judgment by the competent court, provided that he submits a guarantee of the price and costs. The person in possession of the vessel shall be required to appear before the court having jurisdiction over the area in which the vessel is located or the court having jurisdiction over the port where the vessel is registered, if the vessel is not at one of the Kingdom’s ports, to hear the sale ruling. 2. Such petition shall be signed by the creditor and served to the person in possession of the vessel within 10 days from the date of notification provided for in Article 70 of this Law.
