If the mediators fail to reconcile the differences between the spouses, they shall decide on
their separation with or without compensation. In all cases, the compensation paid by the
woman shall not exceed the amount of the dowry. The mediators shall submit a report to
the court which includes their reconciliation efforts as well as their opinion in this regard and
the grounds on which such opinion is based.
