1. A marriage contract must be registered in accordance with applicable provisions by the
spouses or one of them.
2. A party with interest may request the establishment of an unregistered marriage contract.
3. The marriage contract of a non-Muslim shall be registered with a notary; the Regulations
of this Law shall set forth the relevant provisions.
