Khul’ shall be effected using any wording which denotes separation, whether made verbally
or in writing, or by a discernible sign in case of inability to speak or write. Khul’ shall result
in the dissolution of the marriage contract, even if effected by the wording of divorce. Khul’
shall be deemed a minor irrevocable divorce and shall not be counted towards the three
instances of divorce.
