This Law aims to:
1. ensure food safety and improve its quality;
2. protect the general health of consumers by reducing food-related risks and
raising food awareness;
3. protect consumers from food that is harmful, adulterated, carries misleading
information, or is unfit for human consumption; and
4. avoid hindering food trade.
