Law of Criminal Procedure

Upon detention of the accused, the original detention warrant shall be delivered to the warden of detention center who shall sign a copy of such warrant as an acknowledgement of receipt. A provisional detainee may appeal his detention order or extension thereof to the head of the relevant investigation department or head of the branch of the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution, or the Chairman of the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution, as the case may be. Such appeal shall be decided within five days of submission date.
