The court shall first hear the prosecutor’s charges, then the response of the accused, or his agent or attorney. The court shall
then hear the claimant regarding the private right to be followed by the response of the accused, or his agent or attorney. Each
party shall be entitled to respond to the statement of the other party, and the accused shall be the last to address the court. The
court may prevent any party from continuing the pleading if his statement is irrelevant or repetitive. Thereafter, the court may
either render a judgment acquitting the accused or convicting him and imposing punishment. In both cases, the court shall
decide on the claim of private right.
