Petition for appeal or review shall be made within 30 days. If the appellant fails to submit his petition within said period, his right
for appeal or review shall be deemed forfeited. Judgments of death, stoning, amputation, or qisas in cases requiring capital
punishment or less shall be submitted to the court of appeals for review, even if none of the parties so requests.
