Granting of a petition for reconsideration of a decision by a court shall not stay the execution of the judgment, unless it involves
a corporal punishment, such as qisas, hadd, or ta’zir. Nonetheless, the court may order a stay of execution in its decision to
grant the petition for reconsideration.
