1. An oath may be demanded in financial matters at any stage of the case, in accordance with the provisions stipulated in this Part. 2. An oath may not be demanded in an incident that violates public policy. 3. The court shall deny the litigant's petition demanding his adversary to take an oath if it is not admissible, relevant, or material to the case. The court may also deny a demand to take an oath if the adversary’s demand is unwarranted.
