Law of Nuclear and Radiation Control

1. The approval of the Council of Ministers shall be obtained prior to review of license applications for nuclear facilities. 2. The Authority’s Board of Directors shall have the power to issue, renew, modify, suspend or revoke a license for nuclear facilities, or approve the sites of such facilities. 3. The Authority shall set a classification of licenses and specify their types according to hazards resulting from activities and facilities and shall set relevant terms and conditions. 4. The Authority shall set rules for determining license fees. 5. The Authority shall approve the decommissioning plan for the facility subject of the license and verify that the applicant has the required financial resources.
