Acts mentioned in Article 51(b) of this Law shall not be deemed an infringement,
if exercised or ordered to be performed by a person who does not know or has
no reasonable grounds to know-when acquiring the integrated circuit or the
commodity incorporating such circuit– that it incorporated an unlawfully
reproduced design. He may perform these acts in relation to the stock in his
possession or that which he ordered before receiving sufficient notice that the
design was unlawfully reproduced. He shall, however, pay the owner of the
certificate of design a fair compensation estimated by the Committee on the
basis of licenses granted pursuant to contractual negotiations.
