The Code of Law Practice

1. A lawyer shall not accept any case or render any advice either personally, or through another lawyer, against his present or former employer except after the expiry of a minimum period of five years from the date of termination of his relation with that employer. 2. A lawyer who acts for a client on a part-time basis pursuant to a contract shall not accept any case or render any advice against that client before the expiry of three years following termination of that contract.
