Scope 1.4 Methodology AI Adoption Framework Figure 1: Stages of development for the AI Adoption Framework AI Adoption Framework Even with major advancements in AI, the mere presence of the technology does not ensure its effective implementation or success within an entity. Effective adoption of these technologies requires an integrat ed enterprise environment built on strategic and operational foundations, and supported by appropriate regulatory and operational frameworks to ensure safe and sustainable implementation. International and local experiences indicate that the real impact of AI is closely tied to an entity’s readiness and the avail ability of enablers that support technological expansion, enterprise maturity, and effective governance. In this context, there is a clear need to develop an operational and assessment framework that enables entities to measure their enterprise maturity in AI, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and es tablish a realistic roadmap for implementing technology initiatives. This framework is built upon three interconnected pillars: Directions: It covers the strategic and enterprise aspects, including the clarity of vision and goals, the quality of technology initiative design, the effectiveness of governance frameworks, and the degree of adherence to them. Enablers: It covers the infrastructure and enabling factors, such as the size, specialization, and con tinuous growth of the human workforce; the availability, quality, and reliability of data; and the robust ness, adaptability, and maturity of technical systems. Outcomes: Outcomes reflect the actual results of AI adoption, demonstrated through the efficiency of developing and deploying technical models, the presence of effective mechanisms for monitoring, security, and technical governance, and the impact of AI on enterprise performance, such as cost reduction, improved service quality, and enhanced resource sustainability.
