1. A claim for the nullification of a contract shall not be heard upon the lapse of one year from the date of knowledge of the reason for nullification. If the Civil Transactions Law reason for nullification is partial incompetence or duress, the claim shall not be heard upon the lapse of one year from the date the partially incompetent person becomes fully competent or the date the duress ceases to exist. 2. Except for cases of partial incompetence, a claim for the nullification of a contract shall not be heard upon the lapse of 10 years from the date of concluding the contract.
