A wife may request the dissolution of a marriage contract due to the husband’s
disappearance or absence and his domicile or place of residence is unknown. The court
shall not dissolve the marriage contract prior to the lapse of the period specified thereby,
provided that such period is not less than one year and not more than two years from the
date of the husband’s disappearance or absence.
