For a marriage contract to be valid, the following conditions must be satisfied:
1. Identification of the spouses.
2. Consent of the spouses.
3. Acceptance of the guardian.
4. Verification of two witnesses.
5. The woman shall not be temporarily or permanently prohibited from marrying the man.
