1. An absent person is a person whose domicile or place of residence is unknown, and
whose financial affairs cannot be managed whether by himself or by an agent for a period
determined by the court, and such absence undermines the interests of the absent person
or others.
2. A missing person is an absent person who is not known to be alive or dead.
