1. A father shall, by fardh, inherit one-sixth of the estate if a male descendant heir exists.
2. A father shall, by fardh, inherit one-sixth of the estate and shall, by ta’sib, inherit the
remainder if a female descendant heir exists and a male descendent heir does not exist.
3. A father shall, by ta’sib, inherit the remainder of the estate if a descendant heir does not
exist.
