A li’an shall, subject to the results of the DNA test conducted in accordance with the
provisions of Article 74 of this Law, entail negation of the paternity of a child. The paternity
of a child shall be established even after a ruling of negation is made thereon if the man
recants his oath; in such case, any recantation made thereafter shall not be accepted.
