This incident underscores the critical importance of digital literacy and the necessity for individuals to verify unexpected communications as a defense against such sophisticated scams. The goal of these guidelines is to raise awareness among the public and private sector organ­ izations about deepfake risks and provide tools for protection. Public education should also focus on vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, minors, and those with limited digital literacy, by providing accessible resources on recognizing and responding to deepfakes.
