Use deepfake technology to make the figure endorse products or services they have agreed to promote. When using deepfakes, provide clear disclosures that audiences are engaging with synthetic media. This can include labels, disclaimers, or notifications that indicate the content’s artifi­ cial nature. Do not use deepfake technology in ways that could be perceived as manipulative or unethi­ cal, such as altering real-world events or statements to fit a marketing narrative. Do not use an individual’s likeness without their permission, as this can lead to significant privacy violations and legal issues. Personalized Ads: Deepfakes enable the creation of highly personalized advertisements featur­ ing famous individuals, provided there is explicit consent. This approach can lead to increased engagement and conversion rates by resonating more deeply with target audiences. Dynamic Content: Marketers can use this technology to generate realistic promotional content tailored to specific demographics at a lower cost. This allows for the rapid production of diverse marketing materials that can adapt to audience preferences.
