The following fishing nets or equipment shall not be used:
1. Bottom trawls for fish;
2. Trammel (three-layered) nets;
3. Drifting gill nets (locally named Hiali);
4. All types of monofilament or multifilament nylon nets;
5. Encircling gill nets (locally named Mekbar) for catching fish schools; and
6. Fish pots (locally named Sakhawi) made of plastic, galvanized iron, wrought iron,
or any other metal, and the like.
