TERMINATION
1. This Convention shall remain in force for a period of ten years and shall remain in
force thereafter for an unlimited period unless denounced in writing, through
diplomatic channels, by either Contracting State twelve months before its
expiration.
2. After the expiry of the period of ten years, this Convention may be denounced at
any time, in writing through diplomatic channels, by either Contracting State
twelve months before termination date.
3. 3. In the case of application of this Convention for the last time:
a. In the case of taxes withheld at the source on the amounts paid on or
before 31 December of the calendar year in the course of which the notice
of termination of this Convention was given.
b. In the case of other taxes on income or on capital derived or owned in the
calendar year in which the notice of termination of this Convention was
given.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned, duly authorized thereto, have signed this
Convention.
Done at Riyadh on January 13th , 2007, in two originals, each in the Arabic, Italian and
English languages, all texts being equally authentic. In case of divergence on
interpretation or application, the English text shall prevail.

ADDITIONAL PROTOCOL
to the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the
Government of the Italian Republic for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to
taxes on income and on capital and the prevention of tax evasion.
At the signing of the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia and the Government of the Italian Republic for the avoidance of double taxation
with respect to taxes on incomeand on capital and the prevention of tax evasion, the
undersigned have agreed upon the following additional provisions which shall form an
integral part of the said Convention.
It is understood that:
