Law of Civil Procedure

With the exception of summary cases and cases where the period of court date is shortened, the defendant shall deposit with the court his statement of defense at least three days prior to the hearing set for consideration of the case before the general court and at least one day prior to the hearing before other courts and before labor, commercial and family circuits, if the case is considered by the general court in a county or township.
