The summons shall be served on the accused personally, or at his place of residence, pursuant to rules specified in the Law of Civil Procedure. If it is not possible to locate the place of residence of the accused, the summons shall be delivered at his last place of residence in the Kingdom, or to the relevant governorate, county, or township. The place where the crime is committed shall be deemed the last place of residence of the accused, unless established otherwise.
