Law of Criminal Procedure

A ruling disposing of seized items, as provided for in Article 183 of this Law, shall not be enforced if the judgment rendered in the case is not final, unless these items are perishable, or if storing such items is costly. If the court rules to deliver seized items to a particular person, it may order immediate delivery, provided the recipient undertakes, with or without guarantee, to return said items if the ruling is overturned.
