The investigator shall, when necessary and upon being notified of a crime committed within his jurisdiction, move promptly to
the scene where the crime is committed to carry out the necessary inspection before the evidence of the crime is lost,
obliterated or altered. This shall not prevent providing first aid to
injured persons.
