1. Any person licensed to engage in aquaculture shall permit the competent employees of the Ministry or its designee to enter aquaculture sites for inspection and evaluation, collection of samples of water and cultured aquatic resources for testing to ensure that they are safe and free from diseases and residues, and accessing the relevant records at any time. 2. An aquaculture licensee shall not engage in culturing non-native (imported) aquatic resources in the Kingdom’s marine environment unless he obtains a relevant permit from the Ministry. 3. Natural water sources such as groundwater, dams and any water bodies or lands adjacent thereto, may not be used for aquaculture purposes without obtaining the Ministry’s authorization.
