If a case is initiated against multiple persons with respect to one incident, and some of them fail to appear in spite of being
summoned, the judge shall proceed to hear the prosecution's case and evidence against all of them, and shall enter
the same in the case record. He may not render a judgment against the
absentees until they appear before him.
