Gate handling Fees for containers, whether exported loaded or empty, or imported empty: Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit 20 feet or less per container Longer than 20 feet to 40 feet per container Longer than 40 feet per container Notes: - Regarding items (2.5.2) specified in Table (B) First relating to late gate Tariffs for export containers gated in after vessel cut-off time shall be charged at (107) SAR per container. The relevant stakeholder shall be notified about the individual cutoff times of terminal operators. - In case of dangerous cargo, an additional 25% shall be charged over the Tariffs specified in items (2.5.2) of Table (B) First. - Gate handling Tariffs for containers specified in item (2.5.4) of Table (B) First shall include inspection and handling to and from trailers and trucks within port yards. Notes: The services covered and uncovered by ship-to-dock loading and unloading Tariffs specified in item (2) of Table (B) First, are specified below, the Tariffs of which shall be collected for facilitations provided by the port: o Covered Services: Lashing and unlashing of containers or any other cargo, as required. Providing workers. Providing auxiliary tools for handling cargo (such as pallets). Providing towing heads and forklifts for ro-ro operations. Providing specialized cranes for handling containers on container vessels. Providing handling equipment for bulk cargo on bulk cargo Law of Port Service Tariffs and Fees Table (B) First: Fees collected from vessel owners or agents vessels. Counting cargo and preparing reports on the findings thereof. Additional working hours. Supervising handling operations on vessels and berth. Using port barges. Tariffs shall be collected regardless of whether all or part of the abovementioned services are provided. o Services Not Covered: Any other equipment not covered by the services stated above. Handling cargo damaged due to marine accidents. Tariffs shall be collected according to the non-maritime additional services stated in Table (B) First item (3.8). Lost time for which the vessel owner or agent is responsible. Tariffs shall be collected according to Table (B) First item (3.5). Re-stowage of cargo that belong to other ports on vessels. Tariffs shall be collected according to Table (B) First item (3.6). 3 Tariffs for ancillary services related to loading and unloading cargo between the vessel and the berth, excluding transit and transshipment 3.1 Vessel owner or agent is responsible for the opening and closing of the hatch cover at his own costs. Any instance of hatch cover handling requested by the operator shall be charged at (409) SAR per cycle (including hatch opening and closing). 3.2 Vessel owner or agent is responsible for the gearbox lifting at their own costs. Any instance of gearbox lifting requested by the operator shall be charged at (267) SAR per unit per move. 3.3 Any container requiring additional holders for handling shall incur an extra charge of (321) SAR per unit, whether imported or exported. 3.4 Destuffing, sorting, and stacking the contents of a LCL container or trailer shall be charged as follows: Law of Port Service Tariffs and Fees Table (B) First: Fees collected from vessel owners or agents Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit 20 feet or less per unit Longer than 20 feet to 40 feet per unit Longer than 40 feet per unit 3.5 Lost time falling under the responsibility of the vessel owner or agent shall be charged as follows: Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit Container vessels that are unloaded by special container cranes per crane per hour or part thereof 3.6 Re-stowage of cargo that belong to other ports on the vessel shall be charged the usual transshipment handling Tariffs.
