Law of Procedure before the Board of Grievances

If the plaintiff or defendant appears in any session before the competent court, or the defendant presents a brief of defense, the litigation shall be deemed in presence even if either party fails to appear thereafter. The plaintiff may not make any new claims in the session not attended by the defendant, nor may the plaintiff alter, add to, or reduce from the initial claims.
