70. Maritime Survey Requirements
1. Depths shall be monitored, and hydrographic surveys shall be conducted in all port’s docks, access channels, and all berth
interfaces from the edge of berth up to 50 meters seaward.
2. Marine surveys shall be conducted once every 12 months for the port’s docks and berth interfaces, and once every 36 months for
access channels. A comprehensive report of survey results shall be submitted to the port administration or the competent entity.
3. Survey equipment shall meet the accuracy and performance standards and specifications of the International Hydrographic
Organization.
71. Notifying the Port Administration
1. The port administration shall monitor any changes in the depth and notify the competent entity if such changes affect
maritime safety.
2. Prior approvals shall be obtained to commence the necessary depth maintenance work.
