Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 35(1 and 2) and Article 38 of this Law, a lump-sum compensation shall be paid to a non-Saudi injured person who is entitled to a monthly benefit, or to his family members in the event of his death, in lieu of the benefit. Such lump-sum compensation shall be distributed among entitled family members in accordance with the provision of Article 24(2) of this Law; in such case, the lump-sum compensation shall be determined pursuant to the following rules: 1. Eighty-four times the monthly benefit payable for permanent total disability. 2. Sixty times the monthly benefit payable for permanent partial disability. 3. Eighty-four times the monthly benefit payable to a contributor who dies due to a work injury.
