1. Contributions to the unemployment insurance branch shall be 2 percent of the contributory wage; the employer shall bear 1 percent and the contributor shall bear 1 percent. 2. The contributions provided for in paragraph (1) of this Article may, pursuant to a Council of Ministers resolution issued upon a proposal by the Board of Directors in accordance with a mechanism to be specified in the Regulations, be amended by a percentage of not more than 2 percent of the contributory wage and not less than 0.5 percent of such wage, provided that the employer bears half of the monthly contribution and the contributor bears the other half.
