1. Application of the unemployment insurance branch shall be mandatory on all Saudi workers
working in the Kingdom, provided that the age of the worker on the date he becomes subject to
this Law is below 64 years.
2. If a contributor engaged in employment covered by this Law reaches the legal age of pension
entitlement, his contribution to the unemployment insurance branch shall be suspended.
The Regulations shall specify the provisions necessary for the application of this Article.
