95. Renting Cargo Handling Equipment Owned by the Port Administration 1. Requests for renting or using cargo handling equipment owned by the port administration shall be submitted in writing within the time specified by the port administration. 2. Cargo handling equipment shall not be misused while rented and shall not be used except for its intended purpose. Operating Regulation 3. Failure to comply with Clause (2) holds equipment users responsible for any damage that may occur thereto. 4. Cargo handling equipment shall be rented according to the Law of Port Service Fees and Charges. In the absence of established fees and charges, such equipment shall be rented as mutually agreed. 5. A delivery checklist, i.e., a comprehensive equipment inspection list, shall be used before and after renting the equipment to maintain its quality. These checklists include equipment inspection regulations to ensure that all device components are in good condition. 6. Equipment shall be maintained by the operator during the lease period, and the operator shall bear the cost of all consumables.
