Containers, flatbed trucks, and other trailers (including export charges): Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit 20 feet or less per unit Longer than 20 feet to 40 feet 550 per unit Longer than 40 feet per unit Note: - The charges for the port services indicated in (1.8) above shall be collected for transporting containers, flatbeds, and other trailers after unloading them from the ship to the yard of imported cargo and stowing them, then transporting them to the owners' means of transport for delivery. In case of export, the same shall be followed in reverse, whether all the services or part thereof is provided. - Cargo imported with re-export duties shall be exempted from the charges collected by the port from the owner of the cargo in accordance with (1.1 - 1.8). Such charges shall be collected upon the entry of such cargo into the Kingdom. - In case of dangerous cargo, an additional 25% shall be collected. 1.9 The charges of handling services for customs inspection (imported loaded): Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit The amounts collected for handling of customs inspection of containers imported loaded shall be as follows: a) Containers of 20 feet or less per unit b) Containers longer than 20 feet per unit The customs inspection service shall include: - Transferring containers to the custom’s x-ray scanning area using the station's trailers. - Transferring the container to the storage area upon completion of x-ray inspection. - Transferring containers the customs inspection of which does not require the unloading of its contents to the delivery area. - The handling charges in the event customs release requires the unloading of the contents of the container and reloading them, provided that the cargo are stowed inside the container in a way that permits unloading and reloading the contents mechanically using handling equipment. 2. Charges of additional services for containers and trailers: Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit Each additional movement upon the request of the owner of cargo per unit Stripping the contents of containers/trailers per unit Re stuffing containers/trailers 180 per unit In addition to the charges stipulated in (2.2) and (2.3) above, the following amounts shall be collected if the cargo are stacked inside the container in a manner in which handling equipment cannot be used: (a) Containers of 20 feet or less per unit (b) Containers longer than 20 feet per unit Refrigerated containers/trailers, for a period of stay at the port exceeding three days after the day of unloading per unit/day Transfer of late containers to the area of abandoned shipments per unit Failure of the owner of cargo to attend on the agreed upon time for customs inspection of the cargo in containers shall result in returning the containers to the stacks of imported cargo and setting a new date as well as payment of a charge for each operation Transferring the contents of a container or trailer to another container or trailer and stacking and stowing them (for non- customs purposes): per unit Non-refrigerated Refrigerated
