This Law aims to regulate road transport activities, vehicles, and facilities; develop and promote
relevant services; and encourage investment therein in coordination with the relevant authorities, in
accordance with the Kingdom's socio-economic development goals, taking into consideration the
environmental impact as well as security and safety requirements.
