An appointed or nominated member of a chamber board of directors shall:
1. have at least 10 years of experience, or at least five years if he holds a
bachelor's degree or its equivalent; the Regulations shall specify the required
experience;
2. have a valid registration in the commercial register for at least the last three
years prior to nomination or appointment and pay the annual subscription
fees;
3. not have been convicted of a crime impinging on honor or integrity, unless
expunged from his record;
4. not be a member of another chamber board of directors;
5. not be a relative of any of the nominees; the Regulations shall determine the
degree of kinship and priority for nominees who are relatives; and
6. provide a signed statement by which he undertakes to commit to
membership objectives; comply with laws, regulations, and membership
terms; avoid conflict of interests; and assist the board of directors in carrying
out its duties.
