If the vessel uses both, the Tariffs shall be calculated based on the higher figure in accordance with items (1.1), (1.2), (1.3), and (1.4) of Table (B) First. - The Tariffs specified in item (1.1) of Table (B) First shall be collected whether the vessel receives all the services or part thereof. Vessels that do not require the use of tugboats as part of their service shall be Tariffd half of the specified Tariffs. - Vessels requiring special treatment due to its inability to use the engines or due to a defect in the rudder or the like shall be charged double the fees specified in item (1.1) of Table (B) First. - The duration of a vessel’s usage of the berth as specified in item (1.3) in Table (B) shall commence from the time of its arrival at the berth and shall end upon its departure therefrom. Every 24 hours or part thereof shall be deemed one day. - The Tariffs specified in item (1.3) of Table (B) First shall not be collected for the following periods: o A vessel’s period of stay at a berth for non-handling operations upon a written request from a government agency. Law of Port Service Tariffs and Fees Table (B) First: Charges collected from vessel owners or agents Fourth Edition o A period of complete halt in handling operations for more than 24 hours for reasons beyond the control of the vessel’s owner or agent. - Regarding the use of the berth area specified in item (1.3) of Table (B) First, any vessel occupying the commercial berth due to the vessel failing to vacate the berth one hour after the port control vessel departure clearance shall be charged 500 SAR per hour. Overstay tariffs shall not include overstays resulting from port operators’ errors such as incorrect lashing, damage to the container or vessel structure by the operator, and the like, or as a result of an emergency. - With respect to item (1.4) of Table (B) First, the duration of a vessel’s usage of the anchorage area shall commence from the time it enters the area and ends with its departure therefrom. Every 24 hours or part thereof the vessel occupies the anchorage area shall be deemed one full day. - The tariffs specified in (1.4) of Table (B) shall not be collected if the vessel remains in the anchorage area due to a lack of space in the berth. Exemptions: - The following vessels shall be excluded from tariffs specified in item (1) of Table (B) First: o Military vessels o Fuel supply vessels, water supply vessels, excursion vessels, fishing vessels, tugboats, service launches, and barges.
