Containers, flatbed trucks, and other trailers (only applies on loaded imports) Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit 20 feet or less per unit Longer than 20 feet up to 40 feet per unit Longer than 40 feet per unit Notes: General cargo specified in item (1.1.1) of Table (B) Second shall include all cargo, except vehicles, self-propelled equipment, livestock, bulk cargo, or cargo loaded onto containers, flatbed trucks, or trailers. The tariffs for port services specified in items (1.1), (1.2), and (1.3) Table (B) Second shall be collected for unloading cargo from vessels and transporting them to transitional areas or storage yards, and stacking it appropriately. They shall then be transferred to customs inspection halls and then to the owners’ means of transport. In case of export, the same process shall be followed in reverse, whether all or part of the services are provided. The tariffs for port services specified in item (1.4) of Table (B) Second shall be collected for using the port’s basic equipment. The tariffs for the port services specified in item (1.5) of Table (B) Second shall be collected for transporting containers, flatbeds, and other trailers after unloading them from the vessel to the yard of imported cargo and stowing them, then transporting them to the owners’ means of transport for delivery. In case of dangerous cargo, an additional 25% shall be charged over the tariffs specified in items (1.1) and (1.5) of Table (B) Second. Exemptions: Law of Port Service Tariffs and Fees Table (B) Second: Charges Collected from the owners of cargo Fourth Edition Cargo imported with re-export duties shall be exempted from the tariffs collected by the port from the owner of the cargo in accordance with item (1) of Table (B) Second. Such tariffs shall be collected upon the entry of such cargo into the Kingdom. 2 Tariffs of handling services for customs inspection 2.1 Tariffs of handling services for customs inspection for imported loaded containers: Item No. Description Rate in riyals Unit Containers of 20 feet or less per container Containers longer than 20 feet per container Notes: The customs inspection service specified in item (2.1) of Table (B) Second shall include: o Transferring containers to the custom’s x-ray scanning area using the station’s trailers. o Transferring the container to the storage area upon completion of x- ray inspection. o Transferring containers, the customs inspection of which does not require the unloading of its contents, to the delivery area. o The handling tariffs in the event customs release requires the unloading of the contents of the container and reloading them, provided that the cargo is stowed inside the container in a way that permits unloading and reloading the contents mechanically using handling equipment. Regarding item (2.1) of Table (B) Second, any instance of container rescanning request due to cargo owner documentation error shall be charged at 540 SAR per container. This tariff shall include Lift-on Lift-off tariffs, transferring containers to the custom’s x-ray scanning area using the station’s trailers and transferring back the container to the storage area upon completion of x-ray inspection.
