1. Ensure effective and efficient supervision of the implementation of operations in ports and port facilities; and
2. Encourage cooperation between the Authority, port users and beneficiaries, and government entities operating in ports to
perform safe and risk-free operations in accordance with international best practices and the relevant international
conventions and treaties.
