1. The Authority has the right to take legal action against anyone who engages in a prohibited activity or an activity that has, or
causes, one of the following effects:
1.1 Expose the health of a person to danger; or threaten the security and safety of a person, port, ship, or property;
1.2 Obstruct, impede, or intercept land or sea areas or any of the activities authorized within these areas;
1.3 Reduce the depth of water in ports or the channels leading thereto;
1.4 Cause the emission of polluting elements that pollute the soil, water or air in the port or reduce their quality; or
1.5 Interfere with the port operations or property managed by either the port administration or the service provider under a
license or a contract; or cause harmful effects to those operations and property.
2. Use cash transactions during the payment, refund, and other operations. Transactions must be done by electronic collection
and payment methods approved in KSA by issuing invoices through SADAD payment system and using the available channels,
whether through Saudi Payments or through Tabadul (Fasah Pay).
3. Import animal and plant items (including items accompanying passengers) except after obtaining a prior import permit from the
Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (Anaam) platform for animal consignments, and (Hasad) platform for plant
consignments.
4. If it is determined that one of the activities mentioned in the Regulation causes effects prohibited under Paragraph (1) of this
Article, the Authority is entitled to add to the contract, lease, concession, permit, or license a condition that obliges the
concerned party to take the necessary measures to avoid or mitigate such effect.
